London’s Perverted Children

Written by poet and playwright Siddhartha Bose, London’s Perverted Children is part-play, part-gig, and part-walking tour. The show takes the form of an active archivism of Hackney Wick – an urban pilgrimage, where our guides reveal the nocturnal tales of the streets we walk, immersing us in the world of The Wick and shifting the way we experience the city.

London’s Perverted Children is a collaborative, post-diasporic movement from Hackney Wick, featuring live music written, performed and improvised by Zoltan Nagy (electronics) and Tobias Hug (vocals, beatbox) with live visuals and projection by Kent Hugo. Other team members include Erik Perera (lighting design, scenography, walking tour), Guna Dubrovska (costume) and Barnaby Steel (post-production). Marrying theatre, poetry, live music and visuals, LPC pushes the boundaries of performance.

London’s Perverted Children had two sell-out week-long runs at The Yard Theatre. It was developed with support from The Leverhulme Trust and was long-listed for an Oxford Samuel Beckett Theatre Trust Award.
